The Rose Organization has provided approximately fifty mammogram screenings for our community during 2006 and 2007.

Novo Nordisk offers a comprehensive line of human insulin and insulin analog products. Novo Nordisk created the world’s first insulin pen device, and now they are a world leader in production and distribution of these revolutionary insulin delivery systems. They have generously donated all their products to our patients at Shifa Clinic.

Gateway to Care is a 501(c)(3) collaborative comprised of over 165 public and private safety net health systems, coalitions, advocacy groups and social service providers working together to assist the approximately 2.2 million medically indigent residents in the Greater Houston Area in receiving medical care at the most appropriate setting.

HOPE Clinic

HOPE Clinic is a professionally staffed and full-time Federally Qualified Community Health Center –Look-Alike providing culturally and linguistically appropriate health services to Houston’s different ethnic groups regardless of ability to pay. In particular HOPE Clinic serves the uninsured, underinsured, those with limited English proficiency, and the low-income. To meet the unique needs of this population, the Clinic offers services in Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean and Spanish.
Want to make an immediate difference in someone’s life? Volunteering with Shifa is FULFILLING! You’ll be volunteering in charitable clinics and centers serving the undeserved of our community. Our volunteers help us do everything from licking envelopes to diagnosing and treating complex medical and behavioral health conditions.
We are always in need of caring medical and mental health professionals who are looking to give back to the community. Even if you’re not a health professional, we can use administrative volunteers to answer phones, help manage patient records, and assist in other behind the scenes activities.
